Another Demonstration of Greed appears before me a few days ago in the lovely news.
30 people get laid off because the 3 Stooges come to town and there is nothing left to sell. Now at first glance the average joe really doesn't care because it doesn't affect them. Well, unfortunately the reality is these people have bills, lives, commitments, futures, and now it all changes because The Fuegos came on to a few good players and see a bright light at the end of the tunnel.
I sit back and try to understand their reasoning...
Okay Yes, there are no seasons left to sell, but guess what?! There is always something to sell! If not, reallocate their services with their already bottom level salary. These people work night and day and commit themselves to this job and they don't deserve to one day wake up and be told they are being let go...(may I add, this is not based off performance, simply money and greed)... I truly have a problem with that.
So where were these layoffs when the Fuego had a crappy attendance and these guys were selling packages yr round and busting their ass to do so?????
How quickly the deeds of these young, hard working people are overlooked simply because the Fuego have it made now.
In an association where they have a segment called "*** Cares" really.. you guys care?! I understand those families and kids need assistance, not taking anything away from that, but when you have teams that come on to success and dump the little people that helped them get there, I think the association needs to have some form of regulation on that.
Your thinking? okay? Why? They can do what they want..?
Well going back to my first point, these are PEOPLE. They haves lives, they have bills, they have yr long leases with companies they charge quite a bit and they all based these purchases,bills... based on having a job with the FUEGO.
I was told recently I should name this Blog "The Footprint of a Fony" .. thought it was quite funny, but really I think the Fuego should start a blog named that as they appear like angels in front of the media, but truly they can care less if their former employees have a roof over your head a month from now.
So much for a Thank you huh?!
Signing off..
Anthony F.
