Ballin on a Budget

Now most of you are thinking, How are you Ballin' if you are on a Budget?

Easy, this is how the rich get rich and how the poor stay up float.

With the economic stance we are in, it is becoming increasing harder to find a job so maximizing your dollar is crucial.

Step 1: Take a look at your current expenses
  • Rent
  • Gas
  • Electric
  • Food/Groceries
  • Cell Bill
  • Car Payment
  • Hidden cost
    • Shopping
    • Coffee
    • Alcohol
    • Tolls
See where your money is going and how much you have to play with. Many of us exceed whats coming up with the expenses above. You will be far from Ballin' if you do that.

Unfortunately, most of the cost are a necessary evil...

so How do I maximize my current dollar and lower my expenses?

Suggestion #1: Coupons

This is nothing you probably don't already know, but are you truly maximizing your resources..?

Great Examples:

Once you get into the coupon game, its addicting, you find yourself realizing there is no need to pay full price for any product.
This leads into....

Suggestion #2: Take advantage of Sales

Some of us our suckers for sales, but some of us go straight to full price items. Some full price items are definitely worth it, but lets face it...

Eventually everything goes on $ALE!

Therefore, I personally have a hard time paying for Jeans that will be $20 next week and their $85 this week.

** Keep in mind, some companies label an item on SALE when it truly was just marked up and brought back down to its original price. Businesses are tricky and will do anything to get you to reach into your wallet.

Suggestion #3: Re-evaluating/Re-assessing your Monthly Cost

Call those companies you pay every month to and see if they can lower the cost.

Chances are they might say YES, but if they don't well then your stuck with paying what you already paying.

The worst thing they can say is NO. Especially if your a good standing customer, they are always willing to work with you.

Make up some story about how a competitor pitched you on their product and how its cheaper, they will dive right in with a discount or some other promo for you.

In this market, you have the hands up with businesses. They need your money.

Suggestion # 4 SAVE YOUR MONEY

Yes this really works!

Grab a piggy bank and throw all the change you accumulate throughout the day and weeks and see what it comes to at the end of the year. Spoil yourself with that.

Cruise, Trip, Disney World.... Live it up

So Take Away
  1. You don't have to compromise life in order to be comfortable, you simply have to take a look at your expenses and see what you can maybe cut back on
  2. Call up the companies you pay monthly and work em til they give you a discount or better rate
  3. Live it up, but don't go broke doing so.
  4. Live within your means
