To start this blog out.. In this picture.. the question can be prompted..
Is he safe? Is he out?
All we know is that hes giving it his all to get to the plate to be safe and be a damn good player.
Isn't that what we all try to do at work and still we get called OUT!!!
Oh the joys of working in Corporate America...
The Question I ask myself quite often and still can not get an answer for..
How I can I do no wrong or simply get by at work by still performing 110%..?
Gotta say ladies and gentlemen, there is almost no way.. well at least not with my personality. I can look back on all my jobs and have found myself at one point asking myself, okay I want to be a top performer, but not step on anyone's toes.
Well it looks like its almost impossible not to step on someones toes, because typically when trying to reach that higher level of performance you need to ask questions, do research, or simply include a third party which can get sticky.
Why you may ask?
Some people are not willing to help. They are so caught up in their world that god forbid if they spare you a minute or two to point you in the right direction. If our society as a whole would just a take a second to slow down and realize that peoples questions or request( minus the semi-stupid ones) actually have some meaning. People are so easy to push peoples questions off and be mindless of that persons feelings or emotions.
Side Topic... can we actually care about peoples emotions...
Hello! Its a work place, your dealing with people and peoples emotions always get involved. We are not robots that you simply push a button on and off to have us work. We have emotions that may restrict us to our fully ability, but also that emotion can help propel us to next level at our jobs.
Depends what road you want to take.. The negative or the positive...
But back to the main point. Trying to stay in them middle of the road and still be elite.
I would love some feedback on this one, but the only conclusion I have come to is to try to analyze your current situation and get a feel for how people are and work around it.
Easier said then done, believe me!!!
Well I hope you enjoyed my blog/venting
Signing off...
