Thats a good philosophy as long as you don't burn people along way.
Too many of us take our relationships for granted just to get an extra dollar, we don't truly see the consequences of ruining that relationship. But it all starts out from youth.
We are born into a world, where are parents encourage us to go out and make friends and build relationships. As we grow older, through high school, college and etc. we meet people along the way and continue to build these ever lasting relationships.
On the flip side, as we do all this growing we are encouraged to go out in the world, make a dollar and strive to be our best. Typically we are put in the position for it to be understood that people come before paper.
Well unfortunately as the saying goes.. (even though a bit dramatic)

"Money is the route of all evil"
We as a society, from my point of view, have turned a page and pay so much attention/importance to money.
We find ourselves losing sight of where we came from and the ethical way of actually earning a dollar the right way.
Mainly, the value of people/friendships has truly diminished. This may be a more personal rant of my 2010 experiences, but the Paper was put before before me on several occasions. While I was suppose to be celebrating on my hard work and investment, I was pacing whether or not someones power trip got the best of them.
This truly all could have been avoided by avoiding to do business with the wrong people. There are always signs leading up to the final destruction.
This goes for any friendship/relationship.. Open your eyes, look at the signs their leaving behind, don't be blinded to them or else they will find themselves coming back up later and smiling back at you.I will end it on, remember, we are all human, we make mistakes, but acknowledging those mistakes and recognizing those you may have hurt can truly separate you from the rest of the pack. (if you truly didn't mean to put paper before the person)
Don't put money first unless you truly don't value your friendship or value the morals you may have once stood behind.
